Your tyres are the only thing connecting your car to the road, so it pays to get them right. We supply and fit a wide range of brands and budgets, balance and fit them properly, and dispose of your old ones responsibly.
We’ll happily check your tread and pressures for free and tell you honestly whether you need new tyres yet — we won’t sell you rubber you don’t need.
Book a free check if you notice any of these — some are MOT failures, and some are dangerous:
Below the 1.6mm legal limit, or getting close to it.
Often a sign of tracking, alignment or suspension issues.
Sidewall damage that can lead to a sudden blowout.
Wheels that need balancing, or a developing fault.
Tyres over about 6 years old harden and grip less, even with tread.
A tyre that keeps losing pressure needs checking.
Driving on illegal tyres risks a fine of up to £2,500 and 3 penalty points per tyre — so four bald tyres could mean losing your licence. Many tyre experts recommend changing at 3mm for wet-weather safety. We’ll measure yours and show you exactly where they stand.
A blowing exhaust, a sudden drop in power or a loud rasp usually means an exhaust problem. We check the full system — from manifold to tailpipe, including the catalytic converter and any DPF — and replace only the section that’s gone, not the whole lot, where that’s the right fix.
Tyres and exhausts are checked in your MOT too — if yours is due, we can do both together.
Send your details and we’ll call you back to confirm a time that suits you, usually within the hour during opening times. Prefer to talk now? Call 020 7407 2403.
1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre and around its entire circumference. Below that it’s an MOT failure and illegal to drive on, risking a fine and penalty points for each tyre.
A puncture can often be safely repaired if it’s within the central area of the tread and the tyre isn’t otherwise damaged, following the British Standard. Sidewall damage or a worn tyre means replacement — we’ll inspect it and tell you honestly.
We’d generally advise against them. Part-worns have less tread to start with and their history is unknown. Budget new tyres are often better value over their life.
A louder exhaust usually means a leak or a corroded section, which can also let fumes in and fail your MOT. It’s best to get it looked at promptly — pop in for a free check.
